Abstract

|
Cyclopia is a fetal ocular anomaly such a serious degree of maldevelopment is incompatible with -survival. It´s name is derived from Cyclops, the one eyed giant of Greek legend.
It is commonly associated with Hydrocephalus, Anencephaly, Polydactyly & etc. It has been of much interest to embryologists because of frequency & the easy with which it can be produced experimentally in lower forms of life.
Because of relative rarity of this condition & of serious cerebral abnormalities associated, following case is reported.
